Find out what you can afford

Lenders typically recommend homes with a cost no more than three to five times your annual household income, with a down payment and moderate amount of other debt. A lender will determine the amount they can lend.

You can talk to multiple lenders to see who can offer the best rates, fees, loan packages and who you feel you'll work best with. Choosing a local lender enhances your offer and we can recommend multiple that we've done business with.

Get Preapproved

Initially you'll provide some financial information to your lender - such as your income and amount of savings.

For pre-approval, your lender will need W-2 statements, paystubs, bank account statements and to run a credit check. In today's market it is imperative to have a pre-approval prior to viewing home as most sellers will not even consider an offer without a pre-approval.
